In the context of the accelerating digital process, new risk dimensions have also emerged.However, the acceleration of the digital process also brings new dimensions of risk. As production, supply chain, and production control data migrate to the digital environment, cybersecurity has become an essential need for park operations. Production interruptions that a single security vulnerability might cause could have a catastrophic impact on the enterprise and the entire value chain. Therefore, building a secure and robust information security infrastructure must be promoted in parallel with building a sustainable green operation framework. At the same time, at the legal and institutional level, improving the framework for a circular economy, the utilization of clean energy, and resource recycling is a necessary institutional guarantee to drive the park's transformation towards a truly sustainable development model.
In summary, the future competitive advantage of Vietnam's industrial parks will no longer depend solely on land scarcity or low labor costs, but on their ability to achieve leapfrog upgrades on three pillars: technological depth, green governance, and data intelligence. Through this paradigm shift, Vietnam's industrial parks are expected to significantly enhance their ability to attract high-quality FDI globally and integrate more effectively into global high-value chains.
